Title: Estimator

Basic Function: Responsible for accurate take-off and unit costs for construction budgets. Provide Purchasing and Sales department with detailed material and labor takeoffs to use as negotiating tool.

Responsibilities:

• A quantity takeoff and estimate is done for each plan within the division and is maintained in an accurate condition, including options.
• Proforma estimates are prepared in an expedient manner, utilizing at a minimum, comparative and differential estimating techniques.
• Perform and maintain the field audit process plus verification of quantities
• Maintain all applicable databases used in developing cost, quantity and unit price estimates.
• Develop and maintain estimates in accordance with Blue Ribbon Roofing & Siding standards.
• Understand, interact with and support other departments within Blue Ribbon Roofing & Siding.
• Research and implement cost saving techniques

Knowledge of Roofing & Siding Systems

Reading Blue Prints

Education/Training:

Degree: High Diploma required, College Degree Preferred

Experience: 2 – 3 years minimum
