Title: National Builder Account Manager
Basic Function: To manage, penetrate and develop new customers and substantial revenue from a targeted list of National Builders.
Responsibilities:
Sales
- Successfully achieve all revenue targets, while maintaining acceptable profitability margins for both prospects and customers
- Identify new projects and develop proposals to win business
- Identify decision making process and participants for each prospect and customer
- Ensure successful completion and delivery of all proposals
- Work with prospects to understand needs, issues and opportunities concerning their operations
- Deliver Blue Ribbon Value Proposition
- Identify all competition in targeted accounts. Assess strengths and weaknesses in written account plan.
Project Management
- Maintain current forecast of all existing projects
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery all projects
- Provide point of escalation and resolution of all issues that arise from existing projects
- Ensure completion and collection of all monies owed.
Relationship Plan
- Responsible to link all levels of Blue Ribbon management to appropriate levels of customers
- Develop and document overall relationship plan for accounts
- Utilize executive management to gain relationships. Ensure executive management has personal contact with key decision makers.
Administration
- Support company policies and practices.
- Manage expenses and complete expense reports in a timely manner
- Assist Estimating Dept in information gathering and specifications to ensure successful and accurate proposal development
- Develop written account plan with organizational structure, decision process and new development of opportunities within account.
- Learn the American Contractor system to facilitate billing, estimating and collections
